Hobby Master make mixed composition models of metal and plastic. They feature both airplane (Air Power Series) and armour (Ground Power Series). They also will be offering the armour in a RC version (Tech Power Series). The armour comes in 3 different scales: 1:56, 1:48, and 1:72. Hobby Master started making 1:56 and the decided to "focus on the development of the 1/48 scale in the future which we believe has very high potential". After producing several 1:48 models, they also started to produce models at 1:72 scale.
Simply put, these models are fabulous. The detailing is is superb, the weathering is well done (but variable by model), and there is enough metal to give the models some "heft".
